What time is check in/check out at the Villa?
You can check in beginning at 2 pm on Thursday, June 11. Check out is at 11 am on Saturday, June 13.
Do I need a rental car?
There will be transportation to the Villa provided from a meet up point near the Florence Santa Maria Novella train station at 2 pm on Thursday, June 11th. There will also be transportation from the Villa back to the same drop off point at 11 am on Saturday, June 13th. However, if you wish to book a rental car to further explore the region or are extending your stay in Tuscany, there is a free parking lot at the Villa to leave your car. Please let us know if you will not be using the provided transportation in your RSVP.
Do I need to book a room at the Villa?
No, we have the full 24 Villa rooms booked from June 11-June 13. Rooms will be assigned to our guests, which is why we need to be notified if guests plan on staying elsewhere. If you wish to stay additional nights at the Villa after the wedding, please contact the Villa directly.
Can I stay elsewhere?
Yes, please just let us know! We recommend staying near the Villa in the Florence area.
What if I miss the scheduled bus to the Villa?
If you miss the scheduled bus to the Villa due to unforeseen circumstances, we recommend taking a taxi to the Villa from the Florence area (see Travel page for taxi tips). There will be transportation provided back to Florence Santa Maria Novella train station on Saturday, June 13th at 11 am.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited space at the Villa, we are only able to accommodate our close friends and family formally invited on your wedding invitation. When you RSVP, all names for your party will appear and give you the option to RSVP for your full group. Thank you for understanding!
What is the weather like?
We expect the weather for June in San Casciano in Val di Pesa to have highs of 75-80℉ /25°C and lows of 55-60℉/15°C. Our wedding ceremony will be indoor, but the welcome dinner & reception will be outdoor, so please plan attire accordingly.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by December 15th. This will ensure that we are able to confirm accommodation for all of our guests.
